Thermal Shock Testing

Our thermal shock testing quickly transfers your products or components between extreme temperatures to gauge durability and identify possible issues due to the differences in expansion and contraction rates of the different materials used in manufacturing.

We can conduct thermal shock tests in one of two ways. We can use two-zone temperature chambers and shuttle the unit under test between chambers. Transfer time takes less than 10 seconds. We can also conduct testing in a single environmental chamber that accommodates two programmed temperatures. The difference is the required rate at which the test article is transferred between temperatures.

DATASYST draws on decades of experience in thermal testing and environmental testing chambers to develop a test profile that meets the required specification of your product test standard. We perform the testing to ensure your product will meet the conditions present in its real-world operational environment.

Capabilities & Equipment

We offer thermal shock chambers that evaluate how components meet the temperature swings in their environment.

  • Two-zone chambers with temperature capabilities of -68°C to +200°C
  • Standard Data Acquisition up to 2,000 samples/second.  High-Speed Data Acquisition up to 10,000 samples/second
